Dear Students,

Information regarding summer accommodation and dormitory check-out for the spring semester of 2021 is as follows:

• Summer accommodation period: Sunday, June 27 to Saturday, August 21. Due to the 2021 academic year beginning on September 1, graduating students and residents reaching the end of their accommodation term should check out no later than Friday, August 13. The 8^th week of summer accommodation’s fee will be refunded. Other students may continue to reside.
• Summer Accommodation Fee:

1. Rate sheet for each dorm.
2. Excluding freshmen undergraduate students, summer accommodation fee should be paid along with tuition fees during the beginning of the semester.

• Dorm Check-Out Procedure:

1. Please head to the dormitory check-out and refund system to apply, fill out your bank account information for refunding, and print out the check-out form:

1. 1. Students who will return to reside after the summer, please choose “summer accommodation check-out application”, in order to preserve your accommodation status after the semester begins.
   2. Students who will not return after the summer, please choose “check-out application”, in order to reclaim your deposit.
   3. Please check if your refund account information is correct. If the account does not belong to you, a letter of authorization is required.

*Post office account number is branch code + acc. Number (14 digits)           
*Bank account number is bank code + branch code (7 digits) bank IDs.
*Overseas Chinese students and international students please use your resident permit ID instead of your national ID or passport number.

   2. Be sure to clear your room of personal belongings and clean your bed space before you check out.

   3. Bring your check-out form and dormitory key to the Resident Director’s office.

1. 1. For information regarding check-outs at night or on holidays/weekends, please see your dormitory’s announcements or contact your Resident Director.
   2. The refund fee is calculated from the day your key is returned to the Resident Director, starting on the following week and ending on the 8^th week. The Cashier Division will issue the refund to the account you filled in. Since there are many applicants during the summer, please check your account for the refund during October.

• Information for Graduating Students:

1. Graduating students who wish to leave the university early, please apply at the dormitory check-out and refund system and fill out the date you plan to leave the university. Be sure to confirm with your Resident Director before beginning school leaving procedures.
2. Graduating students must fill out the Commitment for Campus Internet Usage by Graduating Students, if accommodation until August is required, please proceed to the aforementioned website and pay an internet fee of NT$100 before July 17. For more information please see the announcements by the Computer and Information Networking Center.

•  Timeline for summer accommodation check-out and return to new dorm: 

1. Students who do not reside during the summer or do not reside for the full 8 weeks: Students may return or move into their new dorm starting from Wednesday, August 25. If you need to move in earlier, please contact the Resident Director to confirm the status of your room; an additional fee will be required.
2. Students who reside during the summer for the full 8 weeks: Please move to your new dorm during the 7^th week (Friday, August 13 to Noon, Monday, August 16), and be sure to cooperate with the old dorm’s space emptying.

4. Students moving to a new dorm do not need to check out online, they only need to return their key.
